Comradeship and cooperation are desirable traits at school and in the family.

At school a cooperative child is less likely to be a victim of bullying because he/she treat fellow students and teachers well. On the contrary, an isolated child is often a soft target for a bully. At the family level, martial arts teach children to help and take care of their siblings. Children trained in martial arts are proactive and never hesitant to help with household chores.
